Site Manager Training Sessions

Publishers will be granted access to Site Manager after attending a training course. Training courses are offered by the IT Learning Centre and take place at IT Services, 13 Banbury Rd.

All delegates should book the T4 Site Manager Contibutor course.

If you need moderator's access, which allows you to publish content, manage security features, and have greater control over the content, you should also book the T4 Site Manager:Moderator course.

Both courses are scheduled on the same day as each other, with the Moderator course following the Contributor course.

Click on the above course titles and you be will taken to the online course booking system where you can read the full course details, check dates and book your place.

You will need your Oxford Single-Sign On credentials to book a course place.  Note: the person who is attending the course will need to book their own place via the course booking system.  If you need to book a place for someone else please email courses@it.ox.ac.uk

Details of how to request access to your site will be sent to you after you have completed the training.

There are two ways to get help with Site Manager.

The Site Manager user's mailing list

If you are trying to workout how to use a template or can't remember how to do something then the best place to ask for help is the users' mailing list.

The address of the mailing list is web-cms-discuss@maillist.admin.ox.ac.uk. To subscribe to the list, please send a (blank) email to web-cms-discuss-subscribe@maillist.admin.ox.ac.uk. You will then be sent a confirmation email.  Please follow the instructions in the confirmation email in order to complete your subscription to the mailing list.

Logging a call with the Help Desk

If your website or Site Manager isn't behaving as expected or you have a development request you need to contact the help desk webcms@admin.ox.ac.uk or if your request is urgent call x80088
