How to view or forward the full headers of an email

IT staff may sometimes request the "full headers" of an email which contain additional delivery information. These headers are not the ones you normally see, but can help us diagnose delivery problems such as slow delivery or delivery into Junk Mail. They can also help block unwanted mail and phishing messages.

The instructions below explain how to view or send the full headers of an email using Outlook on your desktop or Outlook on the web (OWA),  Apple Mail (also known as Mac Mail), Mozilla Thunderbird and Gmail.
