Research Support Team at IT Services
We have a dedicated team to support the use of technology in research here at Oxford. You can learn how they can help you via:
Electronic Lab Notebooks
The LabArchives electronic lab notebook (ELN) system is available to all members of the University. ELNs provide a digital alternative to the traditional paper notebooks used by lab-based researchers to keep a formal record of their work.

Help with Document and Survey Tools
Need to learn how to send large files to colleagues either here in Oxford or around the world? Or perhaps convert a document to another format? Then view the help pages for each service:
Bristol Online Survey (BOS) is an easy-to-use online tool for creating, distributing and analysing surveys.
Research teams often need to build their own website as part of their project work. We can help you to do this with our Mosaic website service. See: Digital Media section. We also provide a general-purpose Debian GNU/Linux service which has range of non-commercial programmes installed ready for use.
Advanced Research Computing (ARC)
Advanced Research Computing (ARC) is a central resource available to any Oxford University researcher who needs high performance computing (HPC) from any Division or Department.
