From a managed staff PC
- If working remotely or on WiFi, connect to the University VPN
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and select Change a password
- Provide your current password, new password* and confirmation
- Select the arrow icon
Through the password manager
- If you are on WiFi or working remotely, connect to the University VPN
- Open the password manager from either a:
• Web browser, by accessing the password manager
• Managed staff PC, from the sign in screen select Sign-in options > square key icon > Open CONNECT password manager
- Provide your CONNECT username (usually of the form abcd1234)
- Within the password manager select either:
• Manage My Passwords, then provide your current password
• Forgot My Password, then provide your security answers
- Provide your new password* and confirmation
If you cannot reset your CONNECT password through the above methods, please speak to the central IT Service Desk.
A managed staff PC's sign in password will only update when it is next connected to the University's wired network or VPN.
