The audio-visual support service provides the University of Oxford with:
Consultancy
A set of technical standards for AV installations
A set of recommendations for AV provision in common teaching and administrative scenarios
Access to specialist AV consultancy including health checks, room surveys, AV solution design, general AV discussion and advice to building and renovation projects
AV Support
Access to commissioned on-site and remote AV support for departments, buildings and events, designed to meet specific customer requirements
Training and guides
Advice on preferred AV suppliers for installation, maintenance and support of AV that meets University technical standards for AV and procurement, information security and network policies
Training recommendations and on-demand training material for staff supporting AV facilities
An AV special interest group to share good practice and facilitate development of the University’s capability in this field
Regular review and update of all the provisions listed above
