Is CrashPlan suitable as a backup solution for you?
The service is open to University staff, senior members, academic visitors and postgraduates with a valid Single Sign-On (SSO) account. The service is not currently available to undergraduates or retired staff. Existing users who retire and who wish to continue using the service to backup University data, should ask their local administrator to grant them Academic Visitor status.
Otherwise the only criteria is that you must be backing up work related material and that your operating system is new enough to be supported by CrashPlan .
