It is advisable to use the most recent version of the AnyConnect software as it may contain fixes for known issues.

You can obtain the latest version of the Cisco VPN client from our Software Registration and Download page.

You may be using an incorrect or invalid username or password. Make sure that you are entering your Oxford (or SSO) username in the format abcd1234 and your Remote Access password — this is different to the Single Sign-On password you use for Nexus365 etc. If in doubt, you can reset your Remote Access password via our Self Registration page.

If you have Kaspersky anti-virus or another Kaspersky security product installed then this is a known error that arises when using the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. To resolve the issue you need to add an exception to your Kaspersky application so that it trusts the Cisco VPN software.

This functionality is not included in the AnyConnect VPN client and there is no way to make it remember your Remote Access password.
