When using the Managed Staff PC SSO login, you can use a unique PIN is to sign in.
Update a known PIN
- Select Start menu > Settings> Accounts > Sign-in options
- Select PIN (Windows Hello) > Change
- Provide the requested PIN details
Reset a forgotten PIN
- From the sign-in page select I forgot my PIN
- Provide your single sign-on (SSO) password*
- On the confirmation screen, select Continue
- Complete the request for multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Provide your new 6 digit PIN
*You can also reset your SSO password if you cannot remember it.
Incorrect PIN
To prevent continuous attempts to guess the PIN, the sign in page responds in the following way:

After 10 incorrect entries, an on-screen challenge must be completed

After 2 further attempts, the device must be restarted

After 4 more attempts, access is disabled for 30 seconds

An on-screen challenge must be completed before the process restarts
