Your PC displays an error message titled "Some connections are not up to date". The error message normally appears as a system notification ("toaster") for a few seconds, and can be reviewed in Windows action centre.
This notification can be ignored.
Windows periodically checks for updated information on connections to systems such as our remote desktop service or remote apps. It doesn't matter if this fails, as a full check and update will take place when you next activate the University VPN and attempt to connect.
