How to find an IP address on a Chorus phone

  1. Click on ‘Settings’ button (on the left-hand side of the phone)
  2. From the menu option, using the central up/down arrow keys to scroll to ‘Settings’ and click OK
  3. There are settings for ‘Admin’ and ‘User’; use the central up/down central arrow keys to scroll to ‘User’ and click OK
  4. Enter password ‘123456’, and click OK
  5. Use the central arrow key to scroll down ‘Network information’

      If the IPv4 address is in the format 10.xx.xx.xx, then the device is probably on the Chorus network.

      If the IPv4 address is 0.0.0.0, the device is not picking up an IP address.  Please check the patching and server.

 

Please note that the IP35 menu is circular and you will return to the place in the menu system that you most recently navigated to.

  1. Click on ‘Services’ button (on the left-hand side of phone)
  2. This may go straight to the ‘Settings tab’, if not then keep pressing the ‘Services’ button until it gets to it.
  3. Select ‘User’ , click OK
  4. Enter the password ‘123456’, press OK
  5. Using the central down arrow key, scroll down to ‘Network information’ (under Security)

      If the IPv4 address is in the format 10.xx.xx.xx, then the device is on Chorus

      If the IPv4 address is 0.0.0.0, the device is not picking up an IP address, please check the patching and connection.

Each handset is paired to a base (a white box with a blue central light).

In order to find the IP address of the base, tap the blue button on the base unit.  This will page the handsets, displaying the IP address of the base unit on the handset screens.
