How to install or update PowerToys on managed staff PCs

Microsoft PowerToys is available on managed staff PCs and provides a range of helpful tools for Windows users

Method 1 - Install PowerToys

  1. Open the Oxford Applications Installer
  2. Select Microsoft PowerToys and confirm the installation when prompted
  3. Wait for installation to complete. This can take 5 to 10 minutes

Method 2 - Update PowerToys

A toaster / pop-up notification will normally advise "A new version of PowerToys is available" when an update is ready. You can install this yourself at any time.

  1. Open PowerToys from the Start   menu
  2. Open the General settings area and select Download and Install
  3. Restart your PC when prompted
