Software download options

The Online Shop (needs VPN to view from outside the university network) sells Adobe products for PC and Mac, as well as Kofax PDF tools.

Downloads for all University members to their personal machines (Staff and Students)

• These site licensed products are free of charge. Installation files and instructions are available from the 
  Software Registration and Download site. The following applications are available:

  • Mathematica / Wolfram
  • MATLAB
  • NVivo
  • Overleaf
  • Oxygen XML Editor
  • Sophos Anti-Virus
  • SPSS
  • VPN Client
  • VPNC Client for Linux/Unix

Nexus365 (Office365 download)

Nexus365 is available to most University members and is the University’s instance of the cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 service. It is centrally managed by IT Services, it provides email, calendaring and access to several other Office 365 applications including OneDrive for Business, Teams, Forms, and SharePoint. It excludes any paid for apps.

All staff and students get 5 user licences, meaning you are entitled to install and activate up to 5 copies of Microsoft Office software on personal computers or mobile devices. For more information and to download see: Office 365 download.

Adobe and Parallels for staff & students self funded

• Adobe and Parallels for Mac 

  University staff and students are entitled to some Adobe products at discounted prices

• Students able to access the Student Benefit program  Windows from the user portal
