NDI technology in Teams

NDI (Network Device Interface) technology allows you to broadcast the audio and video streams from a Teams meeting to your local network. You can then use the unique video and audio steams with you own video production or NDI compatible hardware.

Turning on NDI Technology in Teams

Please be aware that if you need to Broadcast over NDI you must have the ability to Record a Meeting in Teams.

The option to Broadcast over NDI is not visible to users by default. This must be turned on in the setting section of the Teams client once you have the ability to record a meeting in Teams enabled.

To turn this on, go to the App permissions section in the Teams client settings and check the enable the NDI interface box. The option to broadcast over NDI will then be available in the meeting controls of a Team Meeting.
