Teams can be used to capture audio, video, and screen sharing activity for the purpose of delivering teaching and learning inclusive of training courses. The recording happens in the cloud and is saved to the users OneDrive.
Before you can record meetings you must complete the Recording in Teams request form. Access to Teams Recording is controlled by a Teams policy applied directly to the user's account and is actioned immediately. However, teams policies can take up to 24 hours to take effect and for recording to become available so please factor this into your application for recording, there is no fast-track method of adding Teams recording to your account.
The recording option is only available when you are in a meeting so please ensure you test this thoroughly after waiting 24 hours before raising a support task via OSM.
