To request permission to record meetings in Teams you can complete the Recording in Teams request form.
- Requests to set up permission to record meetings in Teams must come from your own account and not a secondary/project account.
- Access to Teams Recording is controlled by a Teams policy applied directly to the user's account and is actioned immediately. However, teams policies can take up to 24 hours to take effect and for recording to become available so please factor this into your application for recording.
- As the change is applied by Microsoft there is no fast-track method of adding Teams recording to your account.
- Permission to record meetings doesn't apply to existing meetings, only new meetings booked once you have permission to record.
