With the introduction of the new Managed Staff PC SSO Login Service, your existing CONNECT login credentials will no longer be required. Not all devices will be upgraded at the same time so you may occasionally need to log in to a CONNECT managed PC.
SSO Login devices display a colourful background image with the University of Oxford logo in the top-left corner of the screen.
CONNECT Login devices have a blue background with the University of Oxford logo in the top-left corner of the screen.
Using SSO credentials on a CONNECT Device
If your account has been migrated to the new SSO login and you need to use a CONNECT Managed Staff PCs, enter your username in the format abcd1234@ox.ac.uk and use your SSO password
Warning:
On CONNECT devices you will need to log into apps, such as Edge and Teams in addition using your SSO credentials.
Using CONNECT Credentials on a SSO Device
If you are still using a CONNECT account but need to access a new Managed Staff SSO Login PC, click the “Other user” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen, enter your username in the format connect\abcd1234 and use your CONNECT password
